Expect to see a sea of yellow hard hats among the fan caps and beanies this Investec Super Rugby season, as PlaceMakers takes its sponsorship to the next level. NZ’s leading supplier of building materials and hardware is offering customers the chance to pocket $25,000 if they attend one of NZ’s 40 home games wearing an eligible Game Day Hard Hat!

To be eligible, a trade account customer/holder must have set up their online user profile (see inside hat for details) and must have spent $200 (excl GST) on sealants and/or adhesives and/or fastenings in a seven-day period from Friday to Thursday throughout the season. This qualifying spend equals one entry into the prize draw for that weekend’s Super Rugby games.

The winning entry, drawn randomly, will receive a minimum $1,000 – but that can max out to $25,000 if the winning hat has been scanned in as ‘at the game’ by one of PlaceMakers ambassadors at that weekend’s NZ-based Super Rugby game!

The promotion will run for the whole season, but each entry you gain for making the qualifying spend will only be valid within the game week in which you spend it – you’ll need to qualify for a new entry each week to be in the draw to win.

Trade account holders can increase their chances by giving everyone on their team a hat, as multiple hats can be registered to one trade account online user profile – the more hats you give out to wear at the game registered to your trade account, the more likely one of them might be at the game! If a trade account with multiple hats wins the $25K, all the prize money will go to the trade account holder.

Customers can view their entries online or by using the PlaceMakers $25K Game Day app. The purchasing period runs from Friday to Thursday, so time your purchases right to increase your chances!

The winner will be announced at half time, so get your hat to the game for a chance to be in the draw to win $25K while enjoying the world class rugby NZ has to offer!
