Hirepool – Hirequip merger to benefit SMEs

Hirepool’s purchase of Hirequip was recently finalised, with the newly created business targeting a range of growth opportunities nationwide.

“We are delighted to have brought these two industry leaders together and see many strong opportunities for the combined business,” said Mike Foureur, the newly appointed managing director of the merged business.

Going forward, the expanded business will continue to be known as Hirepool, though the new branding has combined elements of both companies’ branding. Mr Foureur also reassured customers – particularly small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – that it would be business as usual, and better, in themonths to come.

“SMEs account for more than 50% of our business; building companies are an important part of that client base,” said Mr Foureur.

“We hire everything from saws and diamond blades to compactors and concrete mixers to scaffolding and MEWPs and that offer will only improve as a result of this merger.”
