Together, we’re rowing for New Zealand

Following in local hero Hamish Bond’s footsteps, two young PM Dunedin staff members are fast-tracking their way to fame in New Zealand rowing, thanks to long-time customer Alister McClintock.
The North End Rowing Club coach recruited Emma Wallace and Ryan Wilson to the sport late last year and they’ve taken to it like ducks to water!
“Alister has been a customer here for a number of years and it was hugely generous of him to take on these young staff members,” says Dunedin JV Justin Macready.
“He has a long association with North End Rowing Club, which has produced champions such as 2012 Olympic gold medal-winner Hamish Bond!”
The two novices have made an impressive start – Emma won two bronze medals in the South Island Championships and made all her finals in the Nationals, while Ryan earned gold in the Championships and silver in the Nationals.
“Who knows what it could lead to,” says Justin. “Watch out Rio Olympics 2016!”
