Maintenance schedule free to builders

To help builders ensure they’re meeting their legal requirements, BRANZ has made its maintenance schedule tool available for free online
Consumer protection measures introduced in 2014 required builders to disclose what materials and processes would be required to ensure building work remained up to code over its lifetime.
To help builders meet these requirements, BRANZ developed an online maintenance schedule. Previously builders had to pay to use the tool, but BRANZ recently announced that it would be making the tool freely available.
The schedule is now available as a free web-based tool that allows builders to select the materials and finishes used in a project via dropdown boxes. With its enhanced features, the tool creates a professional maintenance schedule for a new or renovated home which can be supplied to clients or local authorities.
Using the online tool, builders are able to record all materials used in a build in one handy place and provide their clients with a comprehensive maintenance guide.
The maintenance schedule can be found at www.maintenanceschedules.co.nz, if you have any difficulties contact the BRANZ technical helpline on 0800 80 80 85.
