PlaceMakers on show at Fieldays

05 Jun 2026, PlaceMakers News, Prove Your Know How

PlaceMakers is heading to Fieldays with a strong rural focus this year, showcasing a wide range of products, project support and practical solutions for farms, lifestyle blocks and rural builds

Visitors to Site G88 at Mystery Creek will be able to explore everything from fencing supplies and timber to pole sheds, water tanks, rural plumbing solutions and hard landscaping products.

The Fieldays site has been designed to highlight how PlaceMakers offers much more than building supplies – including products, expertise, and support for farms, lifestyle blocks, sheds, landscaping, fencing, water systems, and new builds.

A key site feature this year is a fully fitted tiny house, supported by James Hardie and finished using products from a range of premium supplier partners working alongside PlaceMakers.

The tiny house gives visitors the chance to walk through the space and see how different products and interior solutions work together in a real-life setting, while also showcasing part of the range available through PlaceMakers Interiors and supplier partners.

At the end of the event, the tiny house will be auctioned through a silent auction, with all proceeds going to Mates in Construction, the industry-backed, evidence-based charity dedicated to improving mental health and reducing the alarmingly high rates of suicide in the construction industry.

Making farm sheds easy

The site will also feature a large 3-bay pole shed demonstrating PlaceMakers’ shed capabilities and rural project expertise. The shed will be tendered following the event, adding another point of interest for visitors considering similar builds for their own properties.

PlaceMakers has continued to grow its farm shed offering in recent years, supported by upgraded design software capable of engineering sheds with spans of up to 24m using steel rafters and timber purlins. PlaceMakers Hub Sales Manager James Lash says the company’s shed systems were designed to simplify the process for customers and builders.

“Once we’ve got the specs, we’ll supply everything from cladding and flashings to roller doors and detailed assembly plans. You get one delivery to site and you’re away,” Lash explains.

The shed systems can be tailored to suit a range of rural applications, including open-bay farm sheds, enclosed workshops and insulated storage spaces.

Throughout Fieldays, visitors will also be able to meet with the PlaceMakers team for farm shed consultations and advice around upcoming rural projects. Consultations will focus on practical solutions, local knowledge and helping customers understand the options available for their projects.

Further support for rural customers

PlaceMakers will also be highlighting the convenience available to rural customers through Farmlands Card purchasing, alongside support for Farm Source, RuralCo and SuperGold Card customers. PlaceMakers Trade Accounts will also be available for customers wanting streamlined purchasing and project support.

Alongside the product displays, visitors can take part in a Spin & Win promotion running throughout the event, with prizes including PlaceMakers merchandise, apparel and entry into a draw to win a trip for two to Fiji.
